TRUTH Tuesday - Do you feel confident?
Back when I was 17, I did some low level modelling to "boost" my confidence. In essence, I shrank and went within myself. Shortly after, I became a Mum, followed my multiple life events, my confidence spiralled into a oblivion.

Own Your Worth – Your Journey is Yours
It’s so easy to get caught up in what others are achieving—how far ahead they seem, how many plates they’re spinning, or how effortless their life looks on the surface. But here’s the truth: we all have the same 24 hours in a day, the same daylight and darkness. And within that time, we each navigate completely different challenges, privileges, and circumstances.
So, honour your self-worth. Do not measure yourself against someone else’s story, because you are doing bloody great just as you are. You are wonderful just as you are and you are loved just as you are.
If someone thrives in the fabulous 5am club and it fuels their soul, amazing—keep shining.
If a mum is on her hands and knees, exhausted, trying to get her child to school after another sleepless night supporting their neurodivergent needs—let’s lift her up, not compare her struggles to someone else’s highlight reel.
If a woman is running multiple businesses, backed by a support system stronger than scaffolding—let’s celebrate her without questioning our own path.
Your worth is not defined by how your journey looks compared to someone else’s. You are exactly where you need to be. Keep going, keep believing, and keep showing up for your life, in your way. That’s where your power is.

Each of us sat in the centre, receiving an outpouring of love, with stickers of affirmations placed on us. I’ve kept mine in my journal as a daily reminder of this sisterhood.

Happy Sunday from Aylesbury β¨
Today was a special one—visiting my big boy, taking him from his RAF base for food, and soaking up every precious moment together. It was absolutely heavenly.
I know how adapting has been incredibly tough, how tough it has been but boy, his sheer determination is inspiring beyond imaginable words and I'm one proud Mum.
I underestimated how hard the goodbye would be again today, but my heart is so full from hearing his stories, sharing laughter, and simply being together as a family around the table. These are the moments that mean everything.
Feeling incredibly thankful today to of had this time altogether. π€

As I sit here in the sunshine waiting my journey home, I begin processing the most magical week. A capsule of my week to come next week.
For now, I sit awaiting a train back into society where jumping off the "train" from the daily norm, was needed for my physical body, mind and soul.
You cannot underestimate the power of human connection. Today's society we are absorbed by other distractions..Our visions, views, beliefs and desires can quickly blind us.
I sit here sitting on my suitcase in the sunshine, headphones in and I am grateful. I am so grateful for this past week.
The emotions I feel right now, are feelings of rawness, yet I feel so warm and calm, because the women I have shared the week with have allowed one another a platform of no judgement, growth and love. For that.. I am so so deeply grateful.

Your Words Matter – How Self-Talk Shapes Your Confidence
Here are many versions of me through the years. New Mum me. Lost me. Struggling me. Trying to find me. And now—fully accepting all of me.
Through every stage, one thing remains the same: my smile, pushing forward. But looking back, I see something else—a common thread holding me back from truly embracing myself with confidence.
It was the way I spoke to myself.
I analysed every inch of my body—my shape after three births, my stretch marks, the overhang, the changes in my breasts. And after my hysterectomy at 35? The body shame consumed me.
But then, something changed. I became aware. I became educated. And I chose to rewrite my narrative.
Did you know the way you speak to yourself directly affects your mindset, energy, and confidence? If your inner dialogue is filled with self-doubt, it’s time to shift the narrative.

Feeling All the Mum Feels Today ππ€π
Today was a big one. Driving H to the RAF base, watching him take his first steps into this new chapter—following his dreams, embracing his future. My heart is bursting with pride, but oh, the emotions have been flowing. Boy I've definitely felt those falling from my head and face! Poor Mr White!
The sadness of change, of our family unit shifting. But instead of dwelling on what’s different, I’m choosing to reframe—when we come back together, we make it even more special. This is a learning curve for all of us, and I’m embracing the ride, ready to support H in whatever way he needs.
And at home? I’m still Mum, still Mummy. My 14 and 9-year-old need me, and the show must go on. The ship still needs its captain.
To any parent, carer, or guardian feeling those big emotions of a child leaving home—I see you, I feel you. Be kind to yourself. Let yourself feel it all. It’s part of the journey.

This weekend, I’ll be putting those very tools into practice myself.
On Monday, my eldest leaves home to begin his journey with the RAF—hes been in military college since last year and now he's going. A path I’ve supported wholeheartedly. But as a mum, the emotions are raw. Parenting is about guiding them, nurturing their growth, and then, when the time comes, trusting them to fly.
So this weekend, I’m embracing every moment, leaning into my own mindset work, and reminding myself—just as I tell my clients—change isn’t an ending; it’s the start of something new.
Navigating this transition as a Mum and Life Coach
Even as a coach, I remind myself daily, we are all human first. No amount of knowledge or experience makes us immune to emotions.

Menopause isn’t just a physical shift—it’s a mental one too.
It can affect cognitive function, self-identity, sleep, libido, weight—the list goes on. And for many of us, it’s a journey we never expected to navigate quite like this.
For me, surgical menopause became a reality three years ago, and it’s something I’ll be managing for life. Through my own thorough research, personal experience, and a non-clinical Menopause qualification, I’ve deepened my understanding of menopause. I also co-run a support group with an incredible group of women, creating a safe space for others in our community.

A Sneaky Peek into My Other Passion… β¨
Alongside my life coaching, I’m also incredibly proud to be the co-founder of Me, Myself, Menopause—a community group built with love and purpose alongside the wonderful Beckie.
This started as a pipe dream when both Beckie and I found ourselves navigating menopause in very different circumstances. Three years ago, I was thrown into surgical menopause at just 35½ years old, with no professional support or community to turn to. Beckie was experiencing her own peri-menopause journey. Together, we saw a real need for a supportive space—so we created one.
Over the past year, we’ve not only built a thriving community, but we’ve also gained our non-clinical menopause qualification, turned our group into a constitution, and welcomed incredible guest speakers most months. With the backing of North West Leicestershire Council and even involvement from the NHS, we’re reaching more women than ever—helping them access menopause specialists, nutritional advice, and holistic support.
This month, we had the amazing Sara @sk.fitness.wellbeing share her wisdom on cold water therapy and breathwork in menopause—what an eye-opener! Thank you, Sara, for your invaluable knowledge and support.
And I cannot wait for our upcoming Wellness Reset in June—our biggest fundraising event yet! A full afternoon of renewal with Emily at @breathe_sanctuary and Emma from @thesixthhousex for essential oils, and I’ll be delivering a mindset talk too—plus a luxury afternoon tea to break up the day. It’s going to be something truly special.

It’s Okay to Do Less When You’re Dealing with More...
This past week, I’ve been really run down and unwell, so I’ve had to take a step back and focus on rebuilding—nourishing my body with homemade immunity shots, warming soups, and plenty of rest. Although I've opened a box of malteasers tonight, you know to balance it out π
I've leaned into my membership that I have with @natural_rays_hormone_harmony and I'd like to thank Kirsty for her support as always, such a knowledgeable women and I'm so grateful to her. π€
It’s easy to fall into the mindset of pushing through, of doing more even when our bodies are calling for less. But true strength isn’t in the pushing—it’s in the pausing. In stripping back, resetting, and building from a solid foundation again.
If you’re in a place where your energy feels low, give yourself permission to slow down. Rest isn’t a setback; it’s a strategy. You’re not losing progress—you’re investing in your well-being so you can move forward stronger. Movement is good, listen to your body and do what's right for you.

The moment I realised mindset changes everything…
I often think back to my own challenges and right after my TIA and fluid on my brain, I found myself stuck in frustration, lack of cognitive function, no feeling to my left hand side, not being able to string words together, quite honestly it was ONE of the most challenging times I have navigated. I was desperate to get back to where I was before, but my body had other ideas.
At first, my mindset was fixed—I focused on what I couldn’t do, on the frustration of starting over. But something shifted.. Instead of resisting the challenge, I embraced it.I focused on what I could do, small wins = big wins on the tough days.
As months went by, my rehabilitation period was almost over, I decided I didn’t just want to walk again—I wanted to run. And so, I did. With the amazing support of a running coach, From short walks to 5Ks, 10Ks, and eventually a half marathon, I proved to myself that strength isn’t just physical, it’s mental. The truth is, life will challenge us. It’s normal to feel frustration, sadness, or fear. But it’s what you do next... When you step into a growth mindset, you don’t just accept change—you totally OWN it. You channel your energy into moving forward, designing the future you want and deserve.
It’s not always easy, but you don’t have to do it alone. That’s why I’m here—to guide, support, and remind you: you are capable of more than you know, believe me.. I've been there multiple times, with various challenges. We are all here to live a life of joy & sit in happiness π€

You’ll Always Find Me at the Buffet!
If there’s a buffet, you know I’m first in line! I can’t resist a good spread, and don’t even get me started on cheese & pineapple on sticks—absolute elite party food. I’m not shy about what goes on my plate. Buffets are made for tasting everything, right?
My Circle, My World
My family is my everything. Life with my three incredible kids, my husband, and our much-loved dog, Ralph, is where my heart feels fullest. These are my people, my safe space, my biggest joy.
Outdoors = My Happy Place
Glamping, camping, or a cosy Shepherd’s Hut—just give me fresh air and open space, and I’m at peace. There’s something magical about slowing down, switching off, and soaking up nature that fills my soul.
I’m No Baker, But I’m Definitely a Feeder!
Baking? Not my forte. I once put 10 eggs in my son’s 3rd birthday cake, convinced it would make it rise better… it did not. Instead, raw egg oozed out of it. Lesson learned! But cooking? That’s my love language. Gathering my favourite people around a home-cooked meal is everything.
Empower Hour!
There’s nothing better than quality time with my girls. Whether it’s a PJ takeaway night or a “Get your lippy on, Amy—our local has a live band!” kind of plan, it’s all about that effortless, soul-nourishing connection. No pressure, just pure, heart-warming friendship.
Oh and.. Music.. I adore Soul, Sax π·, R&B and well, anything with a feel good, High Energy Vibe!!!!

At Christmas I took to the unknown and went for my first Christmas swim into the sea, was it warm? Er no.. it was absolutely Baltic!! Was it liberating? Absolutely! I loved it! There was something about just being, feeling crazy as I was swimming in the sea at Christmas, not being able to see beneath me as there had been a storm the day before and the sea was super cloudy... But.. I'm all for facing the fear and doing it anyway!

Better late than never! With just 2 hours left of the day, I’m jumping in to celebrate tenacity in all its forms.
Mine has been about prioritising me and recharging, always keeping my battery above 50% is important for the body and mind. .
I spent time with the wonderful Emily at @breathe_sanctuary - Her yoga session was an absolute dream – a true sanctuary of calm, connection, and restoration.
Every moment felt like a gift to myself. Emily isn’t just an incredible yoga teacher; she offers sound baths too!
