About

Hello, I’m Amy—a devoted wife, proud mum to three amazing humans, and the lucky owner of a wonderful King Charles Spaniel named Ralph. My greatest achievements, without a doubt, are my children. Whilst I am far from perfect, they inspire me every single day and motivate me to be the best version of myself.

For many years, I have worked in private mental health services, supporting both adults and children. I have had the privilege of heading up a clinic in partnership with Clinical Psychologists, where I served as the Clinical Director. This role has allowed me to witness the transformative power of support and care, solidifying my passion for helping others navigate their life journeys. I am truly grateful for my position within this service and it has taught me a lot about not only myself but others. Working in this position for many years, it has unwrapped my natural abilities of natural compassion, nurture and passion to support others.

Like many in life, I’ve personally faced my share of challenges along the way. In my early thirties, I was diagnosed with fluid on the brain and experienced a transient ischaemic attack (TIA). The aftermath was incredibly difficult—I struggled physically and emotionally, when my left-hand side of my body was left completely numb for a period of six months, I was required to navigate through a full rehabilitation programme in order to recover. Yet, with the unwavering support of my loved ones, I fought back and learned to navigate the world again.

Running was always been a dream of mine, so to overcome my physical limitations after the TIA, I hired a running coach, who guided me every step of the way. I will always be forever grateful to Tim, my coach who supported me, believed in me and encouraged me. Slowly but surely, I began with small runs, gradually building up my stamina to complete 5K races, 10Ks, and eventually my first half marathon. Each achievement filled me with confidence and determination, reminding me of the strength that resides within. Most of all it filled me with joy!

Life took yet another unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with endometriosis at 35 years old. Way back when I was 17 years, I was diagnosed with endo but it was manageable. I don't really remember much, other than being told I would never be able to have children, then I had three. However, by the time I was 35, I faced a life-altering decision after being advised my endometriosis was already at stage IV, it had sadly come out of my uterus and had gone into my bowel and bladder. This diagnosis left me with no choice but to have a full hysterectomy. This procedure removed my uterus and ovaries, plunging me directly into surgical menopause, an experience I liken to a light switch effect. Suddenly, the lights went out physically, emotionally, and psychologically.

Surgical menopause occurs when the ovaries are removed, leading to an immediate drop in hormone levels, particularly oestrogen. This can result in a range of symptoms such as high anxiety, Lack of Cognitive function, hot flushes, mood swings, weight gain, and fatigue. (to name a few) Many women also experience changes in their libido and may struggle with emotional well-being during this transition, without adequate professional support. I had to navigate the world of the unknown relatively alone.

I have been on many lows but despite these challenges, I am well into my surgical menopause journey now, and I’m proud to say that I have been able to navigate through the difficult challenges and use personal well-being and mindset to support this transition.

Along with a good friend, we have joined forces to create a constituted community group within our village. This group supports ladies who are going through the menopause life transition, and we hope to provide them with love, care, and the support they need during this time.

The trials I faced have shaped my understanding of resilience, and I have worked diligently over a long period of time to become a certified life coach, specialising in Mindset and Confidence Coaching.

Over the years, I have leaned into my Five Guiding Pillars that I have personally created: Self-Awareness, Spirituality, Physical Well-being, Emotional Connection, and Life Design. With a strong "circle" of support around me—my wonderful husband of 23 years, supportive children, family and strong circle of rooted friends—I have flourished and adopted an "I can do" attitude.

As a coach, I offer natural empathy and guidance tailored to each individual's journey. I draw upon a variety of skills including active listening, effective communication, goal setting, motivation techniques, and providing constructive feedback. My aim is to empower you to awaken your potential and navigate your unique path.

I truly believe that I have much to offer to those who may be facing your own challenges. My experiences have given me the insight to provide support, love, and strategies to help you navigate your journey.

Thank you for allowing me to share my story with you.

I’m excited to walk alongside you as we navigate the paths of life together.

Love Amy xx

ALWAYS

Being my

Authentic Self!

You will always find me at the buffet.

I absolutely love a good buffet, and I can’t get enough of cheese and pineapple on sticks! It’s one of my favourite things. I'm not shy of what I put on my plate.

My family life

My circle of trust means everything to me. I truly treasure the moments I share with my three children, my husband, and our much-loved dog, Ralph.

Outdoors and fresh air

Being outdoors is where I’m happiest. I love glamping and camping or give me a Shepherds Hut—there’s just something about being in nature that fills me with so much joy & peace.

I'm no baker, I'm a feeder!

I’ve got to admit, baking isn’t my strength. I once put 10 eggs in my son’s 3rd birthday cake, thinking it would make it rise better… instead, raw egg came out of it! Needless to say, I’ve learned my lesson. Home-cooked meals are my thing. I absolutely love cooking for my family & Friends—there’s nothing better than sharing a meal made with love.

Empower Hour!

Taking time out with friends is simply the best! Recharging that incredible feminine energy, empowering each other within your circle of trust is everything to me. Sometimes, all it takes is that WhatsApp: “Are you coming over Friday in your PJs for a takeaway?”—or even, “Get your lippy on, Amy, our local has a great band next weekend!” No pressure, no hard expectations—just those wonderfully easy-going, heart-warming friendships that truly make life special.
